About Elm Grove

A well-established Real Estate Development and Property Management firm is looking to hire a Unit Turn Technician Turn to join their team.

About the Role:

Do you take pride in making a space look brand new? As a Unit Turn Technician, you'll get our apartments ready for new residents. You'll take each unit from move-out to move-in ready by handling repairs, fixes, and finishing touches. This role is a great fit for a dependable, hands-on tradesperson who likes variety and enjoys seeing the results of their work at the end of every job.

What You'll Do
  • Complete apartment and unit turnovers between residents, start to finish
  • Repair walls and ceilings, including patching, sanding, minor drywall work, and painting
  • Handle light electrical repairs such as replacing switches, outlets, and fixtures
  • Handle light plumbing repairs on faucets, toilets, drains, and minor leaks
  • Repair and replace doors, hardware, cabinets, trim, and other fixtures
  • Work through general maintenance and punch-list items
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
  • Spot larger issues that need a licensed professional and flag them to the team
What We're Looking For
  • Experience with drywall, wall and ceiling repairs, and painting
  • Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
  • Comfort using common hand and power tools
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • The ability to work independently and finish jobs efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Nice to Have
  • Previous apartment maintenance, property maintenance, construction, or handyman experience
