If so, Monadnock Humane Society is looking for a compassionate part-time Foster Care Coordinator to join our team in Swanzey, NH. As our part-time Foster Care Coordinator, you'll serve as the central connection between foster families, shelter staff, and animals in need. You'll welcome new foster home providers and coordinate placements that move foster candidates quickly into appropriate homes. You'll also maintain ongoing communication with foster families, ensuring they feel supported and informed while monitoring vaccination and deworming schedules to keep animals healthy and on track.
You'll oversee new and annual home inspections and maintain accurate records, including applications, contracts, inspection documents, and contact information.
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Experience leading people-focused programs
- Accurate record keeping and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and email
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism, courtesy, tact, and sound judgment
At least one year of animal handling, customer service, shelter environments, and leading people-focused programs are preferred.
