Join Our Team as an Employment Services Professional in Newport, NH!
Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Employment Services Professional to support individuals with developmental disabilities in finding and maintaining meaningful community employment. This full-time role offers flexible weekday hours from 8 am to 4 pm, allowing you to balance work and personal commitments. You will play a vital role in helping clients develop workplace skills, build confidence, and achieve independence — all while working in a supportive team environment.

- Pay range of $17.00 to $18.50 per hour, paid weekly
- Mileage reimbursement of $0.50 per mile

- Provide individualized job coaching, skills training, and career development support
- Assist clients with exploring career options, workplace visits, and employment activities
- Teach professional skills including communication, safety, social skills, and workplace expectations
- Promote independence by developing natural supports and fostering positive workplace relationships
- Build strong partnerships with local employers to identify employment opportunities
- Document progress accurately through reports, notes, and communication logs
- Provide safe transportation using a personal vehicle, as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs
- Willingness to complete background checks, health screenings, and required training
- Experience in human services, job coaching, or community support is a plus but not required
