Part Time School Bus Driver – Windham School District (Windham, NH)
Sign‑On Bonus: $500 for experienced drivers.
As a Part‑Time School Bus Driver you will transport students safely to and from school, handling morning pickups and afternoon drop‑offs. Additional hours for field trips and special event transportation may be available.
Benefits- Hourly rate: $28.11–$29.71 after training (dependent on experience and qualifications)
- Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training provided

- Part‑time, flexible schedule: split shifts (AM/PM routes), weekdays only; no nights, weekends, holidays, or summer required
- Guaranteed minimum hours: paid for 5 hours per day minimum

- Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
- Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
- Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, emergency exits).
- Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
- Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
- Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding student behavior or delays.
- Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.
- At least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
- Looking for part‑time schedule with summers off.
- Enjoy working with students.
- Desired:
Valid Class B license, prior experience with ride‑share or taxi, previous teaching or customer service experience. - No prior school bus experience required—training provided.
- Sign‑on bonus conditions apply (effective 01/01/2026 – 06/30/2026).
- Safety and/or attendance bonus conditions apply (effective 01/01/2026 – 06/30/2026).
- Position subject to DOT drug testing and DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits use of Schedule I drugs.
