KENT Nutrition, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE family of companies has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Warehouse Lead in Bow, NH! The Warehouse Lead oversees all warehouse operations, including receiving, staging, storage, inventory control, and loading outbound products. This is a 1st shift opportunity with a schedule of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This position is designed and intended to be performed in Bow, NH.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all receiving, warehousing, staging, and shipping activities.
- Ensure accurate unloading, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials.
- Verify correct lot numbers, labels, date codes, and paperwork.
- Enforce proper storage rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
- Maintain awareness of production needs and ensure timely material staging.
- Coordinate outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor workflow to meet operational goals.
- Have a good operating understanding of all equipment you work with including Yard Truck.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all materials and finished goods.
- Participate in monthly physical inventories.
- Track material usage and notify when reorder points are approaching.
- Ensure accuracy of product movement documentation.
- Enforce warehouse safety procedures, including forklift and pedestrian standards.
- Identify and correct safety hazards.
- Enforce GMPs and biosecurity requirements.
- Ensure accurate and complete warehouse documentation.
- Verify material quality during receiving.
- Maintain accurate lot traceability and documentation.
- Ensure all logs and digital entries meet SOP requirements.
- Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse staff.
- Conduct weekly warehouse meetings to review updates, goals, challenges, and Q&A.
- Hold employees accountable for safety, performance, and SOP compliance.
- Ensure forklifts and powered walkie and warehouse equipment are inspected and functional along with other equipment.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed. Report equipment concerns promptly.
- Other duties as assigned by Plant Management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, or inventory control.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of safety rules, GMPs, and warehouse best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory systems.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot warehouse issues and implement corrective actions.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to working height, as job requires.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
- Ability to work safely in a dust environment.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all seasonal weather conditions.
