Receiving Associate

Marathon Staffing seeks a detail-oriented Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations for our light industrial clients. In this onsite role, you will unload and inspect inbound shipments, verify quantities, and reconcile packing slips with purchase orders. You'll accurately label, scan, and record materials into inventory systems, stage products for storage or production, and maintain a clean, safe receiving area. The role works closely with warehouse and shipping teams to resolve discrepancies, support cycle counts, and ensure timely, accurate material flow for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Unload and receive inbound shipments safely and accurately
• Inspect materials for damage, verify counts, and reconcile with packing slips
• Label, sort, and stage products to designated storage locations
• Use RF scanners or warehouse systems to log and track inventory
• Maintain organized receiving areas, pallets, and documentation
• Coordinate with warehouse, shipping, and client teams on discrepancies
• Follow safety procedures and operate material handling equipment as trained
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and general warehouse tasks
