Senior Accountant
Our client is a rapidly growing organization in Milford, CT and they are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. - The Senior Accountant will partner with internal teams and leadership to influence meaningful business decisions.
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
- Report financial findings, discrepancies, and issues to management.
- Develop and enhance documentation, recordkeeping, and accounting systems using modern technology.
- Analyze and maintain budget reports, financial data, and key supporting schedules.
- Work closely with internal departments as well as external auditing teams.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, prepare financial reports, and support multiple reporting cycles.
- Ensure accurate financial recording in accordance with US GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze bank reconciliations, including credit card and corporate card activity.
- Assist in preparing monthly P&L packages and support acquisition-related training and implementation.
- Serve as the liaison for corporate credit card administration, reviewing transactions and processing reclasses as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field;
Master's degree a plus. - CPA or CMA credentials strongly preferred.
- Background working within large, multi-location organizations.
- Strong multi-entity consolidation experience.
- Advanced Excel capability, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
- Lease accounting experience.
Target Compensation: 100-125k
