Schedule: Part-Time (approximately 20–25 hours per week)
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Compensation: $58,240–$66,560 annualized (prorated for a 20–25 hour/week schedule).
A well-established nonprofit organization is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to support its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a mission-driven environment and is looking for a flexible part-time schedule.
ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
Maintain accurate vendor records and files
Assist with expense reporting and credit card reconciliations
Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly
Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable
Assist with other accounting and administrative projects as needed
2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience working in a nonprofit organization is a plus, but not required
