Job DescriptionExperience: Manager
Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 per year
Job Details Responsibilities- Assisting in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Overseeing the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Managing treasury functions, ensuring adequate cash flow to meet the firm's operational needs.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and coordinating with external auditors.
- Providing leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
- Overseeing trust accounting, maintaining the ledger, and ensuring accurate GL entries.
- Assisting in the development of internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
- Collaborating with management on the presentation of financial results and forecasts to senior leadership.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An advanced degree such as an MBA or a professional certification like CPA is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a professional services firm.
- Proficiency in financial statement preparation, year-end close, treasury management, financial reporting, and monthly reporting.
- Extensive experience with ledger and GL management, month-end close processes, and journal entries.
- Solid knowledge of tax compliance, audit procedures, and management principles.
- Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with other financial software.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-finance professionals.
