Position: Construction Project Manager (masonry)

With over 50 years in business, we specialize in revitalizing masonry structures—landmarks, civic buildings, cultural institutions, historic districts, and architecturally significant sites. What You’ll Do:

Project & Field Leadership
  • Manage historic masonry restoration projects from preconstruction to closeout.
  • Coordinate daily work with Superintendents and Foremen.
  • Oversee sequencing of scaffold access, hoists, lifts, and protection of historic fabric.
Technical & Preservation Responsibilities
  • Review drawings, specifications, mortar analysis, and petrographic reports.
  • Ensure all work follows preservation best practices and the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards.
  • Validate mockups, sample panels, and QA/QC requirements.
  • Manage documentation and protection of historic materials.
  • Track budgets, cost codes, commitments, and purchasing.
  • Lead monthly billing and support stored‑materials billing.
  • Conduct monthly Cost‑to‑Complete (CTC) forecasting.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontract agreements.
Safety, Quality & Documentation
  • Support OSHA compliance, silica control, fall protection, and daily site safety.
  • Maintain daily reports, photo logs, manpower logs, and QA/QC documentation.
  • Lead punch list completion and project closeout packages.
What You Bring:
  • Knowledge of union CBAs and procedures.
  • Technical skills in historic masonry systems and restoration methods.
  • Experience with budgets, forecasting, and monthly billing.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools.
Preferred:
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Historic Preservation or a related degree.
  • OSHA 30, scaffold training, silica awareness.
  • Experience with SHPO/local historic district approvals.
  • IMI, APT, or SWRI preservation certifications.
