Senior Project Manager | Real Estate Developer
Salary: $150,000-$200,000
Location: New Haven CT
Client: Commercial Developer

Leading Commercial Developer with a strong track record and pipeline of projects. With a focus on commercial properties, they are looking to bring on a skilled Senior level Preconstruction Manger to their team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the preconstruction plans by overseeing designs, project scopes, schedules and budgets aligned with objectives and company standards.
  • Use their cost estimation experience to prepare accurate high-level cost estimates.
  • Identify ways to implement cost saving measures and value engineering. All without compromising quality or integrity.
  • Successfully manage the bid process for consultants and contractors.
  • Identify potential risks during preconstruction and create strategies to minimize their impact on project delivery.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts for consultants and contractors.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continue to learn and grow by staying up to date on industry trends, new technologies, best practices and ways to enhance the whole process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equal professional experience in construction, development, business or a related field.
  • 5 years minimum of preconstruction experience related to commercial real estate development or construction.
  • Track record of accomplishments in preconstruction from concept through contract award.
  • Proficient with bidding, value engineering, budgeting and management.
  • Communication and negotiation skills. As well as interpersonal skills that can collaborate with all stakeholders.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, building regulations and materials.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and industry wide construction management software.
