General Superintendent

Responsibilities:

• Directly manage trade contractors and sub-contractors to keep work on schedule and up to quality standards
• Oversee the general conditions budget and jobsite logistics
• Serve as the primary safety representative, driving a strong safety culture across all trades
• Build and maintain the project schedule, including contingency planning
• Lead daily huddles, pre-task planning, and regular contractor meetings
• Maintain daily reports and documentation
• Train and mentor Field Engineers and junior Superintendents
• Support preconstruction planning, scope development, and buyout
• Build strong relationships with owners, unions, trade partners, and the local community

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience)
• 5–15 years leading superintendent roles on $10M–$100M commercial/industrial projects
• OSHA 30-hour and STS-C certified
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed trained
• Strong knowledge of all construction divisions, scheduling, and cost control
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard construction software
• Proven experience supervising a project team and enforcing site safety plans
