**** position summary:
** this position is responsible for answering phones, dispatching via radio and logging all activities throughout the casino while providing exceptional customer service to all internal and external guests and maintaining a professional demeanor.
** primary duties and responsibilities****:
** includes but not limited to:
* answers, screens and routes internal calls via radio or phone
* responsible for dispatching multiple departments for assistance or guest enhancement
* maintains accurate logs of all work orders on various software programs
* is able to switch from one department functionality to another
* identifies and prioritizes emergency calls and determines when to contact the fire department, police, surveillance, a security supervisor or above
** secondary duties and responsibilities:
*** runs reports on various department software
* works in conjunction with other departments on policies and procedures
* frequently walks throughout the complex for changes and updates
* performs other work related duties assigned by management
* works with fire, police, surveillance and other agencies, as needed
** minimum education and qualifications:
*** high school diploma or equivalent
* ability to type 30 wpm
* general office experience
* must have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate in english, verbally and in writing
** competencies:
** incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
* excellent written and verbal communication skills
* excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
* intermediate knowledge of word, excel and outlook
** training requirements:
*** knowledge of acsc, stm, hotsos, itrak and maintenance connection systems
* knowledge of mohegan sun corporate and department policies and procedures
* cpr, first aid and blood borne pathogen trained
** physical demands and work environment:
*** fast paced office work environment with frequent interruptions
* must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
