The Marketing Production Specialist is an essential member of the LATICRETE Marketing Communications team, working at the intersection of creative, design, operations, and production. This role serves as the primary liaison for external vendors and freelancers, ensuring that all design assets, packaging materials, and marketing deliverables meet quality, brand, and operational standards. This position is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and production excellence across multiple teams and stakeholders by effectively and closely managing vendors and assets.
The Marketing Production Specialist plays a critical role in evolving processes, improving workflows, and driving consistency, accuracy and accountability within the department. This role requires strong collaboration and communication skills, attention to detail, innovative thinking, management of deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables, with a strong focus on elevating brand quality and production performance.

Production, Quality Control & Project Management (35%)- Lead and coordinate the production process for marketing (print/digital assets) and packaging materials (including boxes, labels, bags, pails, and shippers).
- Conduct detailed quality checks on marketing and packaging deliverables before release or print. Includes, but is not limited to, verification of barcodes, QR codes, color profiles, and die lines for accuracy and compliance.
- Act as the main point of contact for freelance design partners, ensuring they have all necessary assets and direction to start and complete projects successfully.
- Support schedules and production timelines to meet requirements of marketing assets, campaigns and product launches.
- Ensure all packaging projects adhere to LATICRETE brand guidelines, material specifications, and color standards.
- Support creation of barcodes and QR codes for marketing and packaging efforts, as well as manage the versioning and master files.
- Oversee the trafficking and archiving of all final marketing and packaging assets, including the organization, tagging, and archiving within digital asset management (DAM) and related systems.
- Ensure compliance with established file naming conventions, folder structures, and documentation standards.
- Ensure accurate metadata, tagging, and categorization for efficient retrieval and reuse.
- Maintain version control, ensuring only approved and up-to-date assets are distributed.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to expand governance and system adoption for digital asset management.
- Continuously improve asset management processes to support scalability and expanded collaboration.
- Manage daily relationships with print and packaging vendors to ensure consistent, high-quality production.
- Review and support resolution of production issues to prevent project delays or cost overruns.
- Conduct and/or participate in press checks and proof reviews to verify print accuracy, quality and brand consistency.
- Evaluate vendor performance, identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies, and recommend process enhancements.
- Support development, documentation, and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline production and design workflows.
- Collaborate with department leadership to enhance operational efficiency, reduce redundancies, and improve communication across teams.
- Collaborate with creative teams to continually enhance production quality, efficiency, and brand presentation.
