About the Position
The University of Louisville Department of Radiology, Musculoskeletal Imaging Section, is seeking a full‑time fellowship‑trained academic radiologist. The position is at the proposed rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities- Supervise and train 20+ radiology residents in the interpretation of MSK radiology, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
- Provide imaging services for inpatient and outpatient cross‑sectional and radiographic imaging of the body, joints, and extremities, with emphasis on trauma, sports medicine, orthopedic oncology, and arthrography.
- Staff UofL Health Hospital, UofL Health Jewish Hospital, and the local VA hospital, covering MSK CT, MR, and US.
- Participate in resident case conferences, core didactic lecture conferences, and conference participation.
- Optional:
Conduct research with a strong scholarly record.
- Fellowship‑trained academic radiologist, board‑eligible/board‑certified (BE/BC).
- Experience in musculoskeletal imaging and high‑volume radiology service.
- Strong teaching skills and commitment to resident training.
- Optional:
Evidence of research record.
