Salary

26-27 School Year: $53,220 - $108,047

Certification Requirements

Must possess and maintain the certification requirements as established by Connecticut State Statutes. High School Teaching Certification; understanding of dual credit and career pathway model. For information on how to obtain a Connecticut State Certification, follow this link:

Job Overview

ISSP teachers support high school students by providing opportunities for college courses, leadership and career workshops, and academic and artistic programs. They work with students to find opportunities that best fit their interests, strengths, and schedules, serving as mentors along the way. ISSP teachers also teach seminar courses in their schools, serve on district committees, and collaborate with other teachers and administrators.

  • Teach seminar courses at their schools.
  • Serve on district committees.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and administrators.
  • Report directly to the Supervisor of College & Career Pathways and respective building principals.
