The Graduate Assistant for the Men's Basketball program works under the direction of the head coach and assists with the administration of a successful Division III athletic program. Responsibilities include coaching, recruiting, instructing, advising, counseling, and other administrative duties as assigned by the head coach or Athletic Director.

• If the GA chooses to live on campus: up to 25 hours per week, with additional responsibilities related to Athletics and Residence Life.
• If the GA does not choose housing: up to 20 hours per week, focusing primarily on Athletics‑related responsibilities.

• Assist with practice and game preparation, including video breakdown.
• Assist in monitoring the academic progress of team members in all areas.
• Assist with player development.

• Must be currently accepted in a Master program at Albertus Magnus College in one of the following areas:
  • Accounting (only two spots available)
  • Business Administration
  • Criminal Justice
  • Management and Organizational Leadership
  • Healthcare Administration (only two spots available)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
• Previous experience at the collegiate, club, and/or scholastic levels as a student‑athlete and/or coach.
• Knowledge of collegiate rules and a demonstrated compliance with said rules.
• Relevant work experience may be substituted to meet qualifications for the position.
