After School Program Teacher Part-Time | 10 –15 hours/week | $16.94 -$20/hour | Immediate Hire
The Foote School seeks a part-time teacher to join our dynamic After School Program (ASP). The ASP provides a structured, safe, playful, and relaxing environment for students after the school day ends. Our philosophy is that children learn about themselves and others through play. ASP teachers create opportunities for students to engage in fun activities, interactive projects, and meaningful connections that support their social, emotional, and creative growth in a joyful and supportive community.
Our new teacher will lead and supervise activities with children in kindergarten through ninth grade. Working collaboratively with other ASP staff, the teacher will design and run activities—including crafts, sports, games, reading, and cooking—that inspire curiosity, build social skills, and encourage children to explore new interests.
At Foote, we empower children to lead with courage, compassion, and purpose. We seek candidates who are enthusiastic about being part of a community that challenges prejudice, celebrates diversity, and fosters inclusion. We actively encourage applications from candidates with broad and varied backgrounds and from individuals of all races, nationalities, and beliefs.
