Overview

To be part of our organization, every employee should understand and share in the YNHHS Vision, support our Mission, and live our Values. These values – integrity, patient‑centered, respect, accountability, and compassion – must guide what we do, as individuals and professionals, every day.

The YNHHS Building Systems Engineer Program Manager leads high‑level, cross‑functional initiatives for the health system's physical and technical infrastructure, ensuring that capital projects, infrastructure upgrades, and system renewals align with long‑term organizational strategy. This role focuses on mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems, vertical transportation (elevators), and other critical infrastructure across Yale New Haven Health System, consisting of 12 million square feet of hospital, research, and outpatient portfolio.

The YNHHS Building Systems Engineer Program Manager works in close partnership with the Strategic Asset Program Manager. The Asset Manager owns the data, analytics, FCI modeling, and capital prioritization inputs, while the YNHHS Building Systems Engineer Program Manager owns program execution, cross‑functional coordination, and delivery of infrastructure projects. Together, they form a unified enterprise capital strategy without duplicating responsibilities. This position ensures that infrastructure projects are scoped, coordinated, and delivered consistently across all sites.
