Environmental Scientist

This role is for an Environmental Scientist or Engineer with a contaminated land, brownfield, remediation or due diligence background who wants more than just technical delivery.

A rapidly growing, employee-owned multidisciplinary consultancy in Windsor, CT is looking for someone who wants to develop across all fronts from day one. The technical foundation is contaminated land and remediation, but the platform here gives you genuine early exposure to client management, business development and commercial decision-making alongside some of the most experienced environmental professionals in New England.

This is a role for someone with ambition, not just ability.

• Brownfield redevelopment and property transfer work
• Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments and EDD
• Site investigation, soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation
• Remediation design and oversight, contaminated land closure
• Hazardous building materials including asbestos and lead
• Stormwater and environmental management
• Report writing and regulatory submissions
• Contributing to proposals and client account management as you develop

• 2 to 10 years experience in contaminated land, brownfield or remediation consulting
• Strong Phase I/II, site investigation or EDD background
• Solid field and report writing foundations
• Valid driver's licence required
• Ambition to grow into a seller-doer role over time
