Global Compliance & Sustainability Lead

• Monitor and interpret global chemical regulations impacting products

• Lead and support substance registrations and notifications to regulatory agencies

• Conduct regulatory reviews for new product introductions and market expansions

• Provide regulatory and sustainability support for new product introductions

• Maintain documentation to support compliance audits and customer regulatory inquiries

• Partner with business unit leaders, sourcing and procurement, R&D, manufacturing sites to manage product compliance

• Develop and support best practices for minimizing exposure to employees and the environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Chemistry, Toxicology, Industrial Hygiene or related field
• 7+ years of North, South America experience in global regulatory compliance, environmental management, product stewardship or sustainability
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, industrial hygiene regulations including emerging PFAS requirements
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Ability to execute risk management initiatives and long-term projects
• Experience authoring global SDSs, global GHS implementation and chemical hazard classification
• Proven track record in developing environmental compliance, ISO 14001 management systems and sustainability initiatives
