Position OverviewThis role entails serving as a quality control engineer with a diverse range of responsibilities, given the smaller size of the facility. It presents an excellent opportunity for individuals early in their careers seeking to develop a comprehensive skillset and contribute to the establishment of a new venture. Key duties include:
- Engagement in daily quality testing in the laboratory and collaboration with staff on the plant floor (e.g., root-cause analysis, planning and implementation of corrective actions)
- Involvement in the reconstruction and enhancement of the QMS (Quality Management System) for the facility
- Leading the development of an SPC (Statistical Process Control) program
- Streamlining the monitoring and reporting of quality indicators and providing support for the Management of Change (MOC) process
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is mandatory. At least 3 years of experience in the chemical industry post-graduation. Prior experience in a PSM (Process Safety Management)-regulated manufacturing plant is essential. Seeking candidates familiar with quality system standards in chemical manufacturing. Possession of a six-sigma green belt and/or black-belt certification is highly desirable.
