The company has a long history of solving some of the industry’s toughest problems for the Aerospace & Defense, Space, Industrial, Medical Equipment, and Automotive sectors. They are known worldwide for creating highly specialized fluid controls, valves, filters, and pumps
. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing center is an ENGINEER’S PLAYGROUND, plus the capital to acquire what’s needed to continue their innovation mission.
Reporting to the Director of Innovation, you’ll play a significant role in leading & contributing to all R&D initiatives across the company’s entire product portfolio & driving innovation in new product development.
- Lead multiple projects & mentor a small team – influence team members to THINK OUTSIDE the box
- Influence & guide technical direction, prototyping & testing of research projects to successfully transition into production - NPI/NPD.
- Collaborate on strategic roadmaps, new technologies, market trends, and product placement in potential new markets.
- Advise multiple product groups on their challenges, processes, materials, costs, testing, and manufacturing/production.
- 8+ years of experience in Research or New Product Development for Mechanical / Electro-Mechanical products, components or large systems (hydraulics – fluid controls – valves – pumps – mechanisms – complex machinery).
Very high-precision component manufacturing
. - Ability to solve complex problems; primarily for NPD but you’ll support engineering groups with their challenges.
- MS / PhD in Engineering / Physics / Science / Materials / Systems.
