M Force Partners is seeking an Electronic Engineer to support the design and development of advanced electronic hardware for high-reliability applications. This position will focus on circuit simulation and analysis, schematic development, PCB design, prototype builds, bench testing, and hardware debugging.
The ideal Electronic Engineer has an Electrical Engineering background with hands-on circuit simulation experience using tools such as LTspice, Power Sim, or Math Works. Experience with Altium Designer, high-speed digital electronics, or power electronics is highly valuable for this position.
This Electronic Engineer will support projects from initial circuit simulation through PCB design, prototype development, testing, and debugging while working within a fast-paced engineering environment with demanding technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electronic circuit simulation and analysis to support hardware design and development
- Utilize simulation tools such as LTspice, Power Sim, Math Works, or similar platforms
- Develop and evaluate electronic circuit designs before hardware implementation
- Create electrical schematics for electronic hardware and PCB assemblies
- Support PCB layout and design activities using Altium Designer or similar PCB design software
- Translate circuit simulation results into practical electronic hardware designs
- Support electronic designs from simulation through PCB development and prototype builds
- Participate in prototype assembly, bring-up, bench testing, troubleshooting, and debugging
- Analyze hardware performance and identify design improvements based on simulation and test results
- Develop and maintain PCB and electronic manufacturing documentation
- Collaborate with electrical engineers, PCB designers, manufacturing personnel, and other technical team members
- Support high-reliability electronic hardware development for complex technical applications
- Complete engineering activities according to established technical requirements and project schedules
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related electrical engineering discipline
- Professional experience with electronic circuit simulation and analysis
- Experience using electronic circuit simulation software
- Experience with electronic hardware design and development
- Ability to develop and interpret electrical schematics
- Experience supporting PCB design and development
- Understanding of the electronic hardware development process from simulation through prototype build and testing
- Hands-on experience with prototype hardware testing, troubleshooting, or debugging
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced engineering environment
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work onsite in New Haven, CT
- Experience with LTspice
- Experience with Altium Designer
- Experience with Power Sim
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or other Math Works tools
- Experience with high-speed digital electronics and circuit design
- Experience with power electronics or power systems design
- Experience developing high-reliability electronic hardware

- Experience with electronic hardware for military, quantum, medical, biotech, cleantech, industrial, or scientific applications
