Full-Time/Part-Time Salary Range: $21.29 - $25.04 Hourly Job Shift: Day

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Interacts in a positive and professional manner with students and colleagues
  • Collaborates with the ECA Technical Director and ECA Teaching Artists to support student learning in the arts
  • Ensures a safe performance environment for students and staff that complies with all industry best-practices and relevant regulations
  • Provides regular maintenance to ECA performance venues and their related production equipment
  • Provides production support for performances, assemblies, and art openings including but not limited to lighting, A/V playback, live audio mixing, scenic carpentry, rigging, and stage management
  • Demonstrates flexibility, creativity, and positivity in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Models safe industry-standard production practices
Knowledge Of
  • ACES policies and procedures, inclusive of assigned program specific policies and procedures
  • Safe industry-standard production practices
  • School operations practices and procedures
  • Common production practices for the artforms of Creative Writing, Dance, Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts
Qualifications Skills In
  • Oral and written communication to explain complex technical information to collaborators with varying levels of technical experience
  • Lighting, including maintenance and operation of conventional and moving lights, and operation of ETC lighting control consoles
  • Audio, including the assembly, maintenance, and operation of sound systems, operation of Yamaha and Midas audio consoles, and operation of QLab software
  • Scenic Carpentry, including the safe use of hand and power tools, shop best practices, platform, flat, and wagon construction, and scenic painting
  • Stage Management, including call sheet management, prompt book authoring, and show calling
  • Rigging, including basic knot work, operation of rigging hardware, and working safely at height
  • Mentoring young people in stagecraft
