Responsibilities

The Finance Coordinator (Compliance) will provide administrative support and business partnering that will enable the National Finance team to mitigate risk and enhance internal controls over key organizational processes (inventory management, payroll adjustments, cash management, purchasing, etc.). Finance Coordinators must be versatile, detail oriented, and committed to supporting internal customers, improving internal controls, and prioritizing projects and tasks as directed by the Sr.

Finance Manager. The person in this position must be able to conduct oneself with a professional demeanor while being approachable by employees and leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Review the monthly Aged PO GR/IR balances report. Work with Last Mile PO creators to close out aged items and take the associated risk/opportunity to the P&L, if appropriate.
  • Partner with Purchasing Team to review VIM invoices without Purchase Orders. Assign Last Mile invoices to the appropriate contact.
  • Become SAP PO Superuser for Last Mile. Support national team with PO overflow. Assist Region Coordinators with POs as needed.
  • Coordinate monthly branch inventory variance SOX compliance reporting
  • Coordinate Branch Fixed Asset physical inventories. Update/submit retirement, disposal, transfer forms as required.
  • Monitor payroll incentives, stipends, adjustments, and commissions for compliance
  • Perform cash audits for Last Mile branches
  • Support Uncollected COD process
  • Provide reporting on key indicators as requested by leadership
  • Actively drive continuous improvement related to financial and operational responsibilities and processes to ensure activities are aligned with overall Company guidelines
  • Various other duties, as needed
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years’ relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • College degree preferred but not required
