Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a CT or compact license and trauma center experience.

Job Details

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit,

• Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00,

• Level I Trauma Center environment,

• Average ratios are 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on PM shifts,

• Epic EMR is used on this unit,

• Weekend shifts required every other weekend,

• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs,

• No on-call responsibilities,

Job Requirements

• Active CT or compact RN license (pending license accepted if active prior to start),

• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience required,

• Experience working in a trauma center at a large facility is required,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Flu vaccine is required with no declinations permitted,

• COVID-19 vaccine and booster required; exemptions only for documented medical or religious reasons,

• Candidates must not have prior issues on their nursing license,

• Only non-local candidates residing over 75 miles from the facility are eligible,
