Assistant Manager - David's Path & DBT
Location:

- Supports Program Manager in the administration of program standards and procedures related to the operation and provision of services.
- Provides face-to-face hands-on supportive assistance enabling clients to maintain living in their apartment/home, including activities of daily living, assisting with personal care, and other activities which promote healthy living.
- Ensures clients are treated with respect and dignity, provided with quality care.
- Coordinates client’s activities providing opportunities for individuals to make choices and decisions.
- Responsible to follow state and Agency guidelines to administer medication and maintain all appropriate trainings as applicable.
- Coordinates and assists with transportation for the clients.
- Works with Program Manager to ensure interdisciplinary team meets as needed to support client care and to coordinate Individual Plans and Level of Needs Assessments.
- Works within team to track and report daily data for behavior, goal, teaching, and ADL strategies.
- Assists in monitoring use and maintenance of the agency vehicle(s) assigned to program.
- Conducts supervisory spot checks in conjunction with management.
- Provides appropriate care management supports and maintains charting standards consistent with regulatory and Agency policy.
- Works with staff to promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment for both staff and clients.
- Responsible for data input with designated electronic systems. Completes monthly data submission in accordance with regulatory and Agency policy.
- Maintains working relationships with identified community providers and family members.
- Attends agency sponsored in services, outside trainings, conferences and meetings to facilitate continued professional growth.
- Supports the management in implementing changes in the program reflecting identified agency priorities and strategic plan.
- Supports Program Manager with program admissions, planning, and discharge processes.
- Assists with facilitating staff and house/community meetings.
- Assists in monitoring documentation of services and the collection of data.
- Responds to crisis situations and provides appropriate interventions, de escalation, and debriefing.
- Provides rotating on-call coverage.
- Works with Program Manager in the recruitment, selection, and hiring of staff.
- Provides and documents supervision and evaluations. As assigned, consistent with agency policy.
- Provides new staff with program orientation and ongoing professional development and training.
- Addresses concerns with staff or other professionals constructively and in a timely fashion.
- Adheres to policies and practices as outlined in staff handbook and program operations manual.
- Consistently works in a respectful, constructive, and cooperative manner.
- Upholds all HIPAA regulations and secures all necessary releases of information for outside communication.
- Models culturally competent behavior interacting with clients, providers, and fellow staff.
- Maintains accurate electronic records and case files as assigned and in accordance with programming, contractual, licensing, and accreditation requirements.
- Adheres to the standards of the Council on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
- Participates in agency committee work when available or as permitted.
- Completes all trainings as required per program contract and agency policy.
- Maintains property to ensure building/office is welcoming upon entrance.
- Attends agency sponsored in services, outside trainings, conferences and meetings to facilitate continued professional growth and ensure the quality of case management practices.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field with at least 1 year supervisory experience. Associate’s degree considered with a minimum of two (2) years’, or high school degree considered with at least three (3) consecutive supervisory experience.
- Prior experience working with people with mental illness, addiction disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities is required.
