Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Pharmacist based in New Haven, CT. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, providing medication consultations, and educating patients about their medications and proper usage. Additional duties include verifying prescriptions, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. The Staff Pharmacist will also supervise pharmacy staff, manage inventory, and stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.

Qualifications
  • Licensure as a registered pharmacist in the state of Connecticut
  • Proficiency in prescription review, medication dispensing, and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Strong patient counseling and customer service skills to educate patients about prescription usage and side effects
  • Experience in inventory management and ability to maintain organizational systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities to ensure medication safety and accuracy
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and updates
  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

    D.) degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
