ResponsibilitiesEvaluates, supervises and monitors clients during exercise component of rehabilitation process. As member of rehabilitation services team, evaluates profiles/intakes and recommends exercise programs. Develops exercise prescriptions and renders exercise programs upon physician referral for apparently healthy and diseased populations. Enables participants to engage in safe, effective and enjoyable fitness programs to enhance functioning levels and wellness. Questions, concerns, and medical decisions regarding treatment must be discussed with lead rehabilitation clinician, manager and/or medical advisor.
Follows up, documents and maintains participants? needs. This role may require practice outside the hospital campus within community, such as Health Fairs etc. and own transportation may be utilized. EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran

- 4. Technology Integrated Care
- 4.1 Patient Customization such as inputting biometric data, injury constraints, and custom ranges into the software interfaces of rehab equipment
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science/ Exercise Physiology. Masters preferred.
Experience3 year recent relevant experience preferred. Prefer experience in working with special populations.
LicensureBLS, ACSM certification within one year
Special SkillsExcellent interpersonal skills, public speaking skills and the ability to practice independently. Functions with or without the assistance of reasonable accommodation as determined on a case by case basis. Computer skills including proficiency with Epic, Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
Physical DemandThe worker must be able to stand, walk, talk, hear, lift, push, pull, reach, stoop, kneel, climb and perform repetitive motions, of the wrist, fingers or hands., The worker must be able to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and /or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects or the human body.
