Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Inpatient Cardiovascular Medicine

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in our growing Hospitalist and Cardiovascular Medicine program.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work alongside leading physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and multidisciplinary specialists while managing a diverse and complex cardiovascular patient population.

• Provide comprehensive inpatient cardiovascular care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Perform patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic testing, and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge care
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and care coordination

• Full-Time, 40 hours per week
• 12-hour rotating shifts
• Sunday through Saturday schedule

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Connecticut APRN or PA licensure (or eligibility)
• National certification as an NP or PA
• BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain)
• Eligible for medical staff appointment and credentialing

Preferred:

• Experience in Cardiovascular Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, or a related inpatient specialty
