Position Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in the Stewarding department.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Ensures an adequate supply of clean china, glass and silver is available to all outlets
- Guarantees the proper allocation of goods to the proper outlet
- Assists in training and scheduling of the Stewarding department staff
- Aids in maintaining inventories

Minimum Education and QualificationsTwo years of experience as a Steward, in a high volume operation.
CompetenciesIncumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Proper cleaning and storage techniques
- Understanding of cleaning methods
- Knowledge of the Mohegan Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) as it relates to employment
- Must complete all appropriate Human Resources Supervisor Training classes
- Understanding of health and sanitation guidelines
- Knowledge of Ascent, Empower Time and Manager Self Service systems
- Fast paced kitchen environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
