Summary
We are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Assistant who will provide support to the Talent Acquisition team with all recruiting and onboarding efforts for new attorneys, lateral hires, and business services hires. This role will be hybrid with an in-office expectation of 2-3 days per week. This role is based in our New Haven office.

The Role- Assist with high volume interview scheduling for lateral associate, partner, and business services candidates, including maintaining calendar and appointment schedules, booking conference rooms, and preparing meeting materials.
- Enter and maintain candidate data in the firm’s applicant tracking system and document management database.
- Maintain recruiting agency and vendor agreements and track agency placement fees.
- Process recruitment invoices, placement invoices, and expense reports in accounting management system.
- Maintain recruitment budget.
- Process background checks through third-party vendor for new hires.
- Post open roles to the Firm's website, Linked In, and other industry job boards as appropriate.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks for the department.
- Assist with planning recruitment events, dinners, and outreach.
- Assist with all aspects of the Summer Program and entry-level recruitment, including but not limited to preparing and executing social events/training sessions, tracking work assignments, compiling feedback packets for evaluation periods, and maintaining budget log.
- Other projects as assigned by the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition and the recruitment team.
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of Firm computer software programs (e.g. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Teams, Zoom, iManage, SharePoint, Reach ATS etc.), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
- Strong organizational skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
