Talent Acquisition Assistant
Location: New Haven, CT (Hybrid | 2–3 days onsite)
Compensation:
Up to $60,000 +

Our client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Assistant to support a busy and collaborative TA team across all recruiting and onboarding efforts, including lateral attorneys, partners, and business services professionals. Primary Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide essential coordination and administrative support throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate high-volume interview scheduling for lateral associate, partner, and business services candidates, including calendar management, conference room bookings, and meeting preparation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the firm’s applicant tracking system and document management databases
- Manage recruiting agency and vendor agreements and track placement activity and fees
- Process recruitment-related invoices, placement fees, and expense reports through the firm’s accounting systems
- Assist with tracking and maintaining the recruitment budget
- Coordinate background checks through third-party vendors for new hires
- Post open positions to the firm’s website, Linked In, and relevant job boards
- Handle day-to-day administrative support for the Talent Acquisition team
- Support planning and execution of recruitment events, dinners, and outreach initiatives
- Assist with the Summer Program and entry-level recruitment, including event coordination, training sessions, assignment tracking, feedback compilation, and budget tracking
- Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned by the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels
- Proficiency with common business tools and systems (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, document management systems, and applicant tracking systems), with the ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
- Customer service–oriented mindset with a professional and responsive approach
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
