Position Title: Transportation Analyst

The Planning group provides fully integrated planning and management as well as project development services for our clients. We apply our national knowledge and leadership while leveraging the strength of our regional expertise to bring experience from across the country and at the federal level to an intimate understanding of our clients needs.

• Project Delivery: Produce and deliver exceptional quality work that is thorough, polished, and reflects well on CS. Provide exceptional value-added service to project managers and/or clients and communicate consistently with internal and external team members. Actively listen and seek to understand client or project manager needs. Meet chargeability expectations.

• Proceed with assignments under the general supervision of a Project Manager on statewide and regional planning studies, multimodal corridor studies, financial and economic analysis, transportation policy analysis, environmental analysis and related work.
• Learn to use, understand, and appropriately apply new technical tools.
• Develop interpretive skills and contribute to project outcomes.
• Assist with business development and project management activities at the discretion of more senior consultants.

• Bachelor’s degree
• 0-4 years of applicable experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office & Excel
• Experience with ArcGIS and/or other geospatial software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Programming interest or experience (e.g. R)

Salary: $80k-$95k
