Cisco VoIP Technician

Pay Range:

$30-35/hr. (or higher/negotiable based on experience)

We are seeking a Cisco VoIP Technician to support daily operations of enterprise voice and collaboration systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with performing MACs on Cisco phone systems and building telephony & data connectivity.

• Perform moves, adds, and changes in Cisco Unified Communications environments (CUCM).
• Add, move, and modify user extensions, voicemail boxes, and device profiles.
• Provision and configure Cisco IP phones, softphones, and voicemail services.
• Support end users with basic VoIP issues including phone registration, call routing, and voicemail access.
• Monitor ticket queues and respond to service requests.
• Escalate complex voice, network, or system issues to Tier 2/3 support teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of changes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Assist with phone deployments, replacements, and site rollouts.

• 3-5+ years of experience supporting Cisco VoIP or similar telephony systems.
• Basic understanding of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
• Familiarity with MAC work (Moves, Adds, Changes) in voice environments.
• Knowledge of IP telephony concepts (SIP, SCCP, extensions, voicemail).
• Experience using a ticketing system (Service Now, Remedy, Jira, etc.).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
