Position: Business Systems Analyst 3 - Workday Financials

Deliver high-quality finance systems support by analyzing issues, driving resolution, and managing service requests through Salesforce. Enable continuous improvement by contributing to Workday enhancements, regulatory updates, integrations, reporting solutions, and system testing. Support accurate and timely financial close by managing Workday-related activities across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles. Strengthen accounting operations by partnering with stakeholders to design, maintain, and enhance Allocations, Account Posting Rules, Custom Validations, Journal Sources, and related configurations.

Improve financial integrity and compliance by configuring and maintaining account reconciliations and certification processes.

Skills and Abilities
  • Developed analytical, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Developed interpersonal, written, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven experience with systems and business process analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Workday ERP concepts, financial operations, and controls. 4–6 years of related business systems analysis or Workday functional support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience supporting Workday Financial Management in a complex organization.
  • Higher education or similarly regulated environment experience.
  • Experience supporting audits, regulatory reporting, or financial controls.
  • Demonstrated mentoring or team leadership experience.
Principal Responsibilities
  • Perform a diverse range of analytical duties in the development of technology solutions for business processes.
  • Plan, organize, and define requirements, methods, and end‑user objectives, coordinate effort with team members, other IT staff, users, and vendors.
  • Interview, analyze, and document end‑user processes and systems requirements for enhancement and/or workflow improvements or new system development.
  • Develop and execute system test plans to ensure application performance aligns to specifications.
  • Prepare technical reports, design workflow maps or other documents to facilitate system understanding.
  • May lead segments of larger projects, develop trainings, presentations, and communications.

    Education and Experience

    Bachelor's Degree and four years of experience or equivalent education and experience.

    • Developed interpersonal, written, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
    • Proven ability to lead and manage staff.
    • Proven expertise with systems and process analysis methods and techniques.
    • Proven project management skills and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
