Data Analyst
Overview
Monitor and manage the Financial Reporting and Analytics support queue, providing timely user support and partnering with IT to keep financial systems (e.g., Finance Datamart, SSAS models) stable and reliable.
Contribute to medium- and large-scale projects, ensuring assigned tasks and deliverables are completed on time.
Apply working knowledge of AI to identify and advance enhancements to financial reporting that improve accuracy, efficiency, and insight.
Partner with end users and stakeholders to gather and document requirements for Workday Financials and Power BI reporting, supporting enhancements and new development.
Design, develop, test, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that enable accurate, insightful, and actionable reporting.

Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of AI and automation tools, with practical experience using them to improve financial reporting, analytics, and business processes.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling, DAX, and performance tuning.
- Experience writing and optimizing SQL and/or other query languages to extract, transform, and analyze data; familiarity with data warehouses or datamarts preferred.
- Hands‑on experience with Workday Financials reporting and Worksheets, including development, enhancement, and support of standard and custom reports.
- Perform a diverse range of analytical duties in the development of technology solutions for business processes.
- Plan, organize, and define requirements, methods, and end‑user objectives, coordinating effort with team members, other IT staff, users, and vendors.
- Interview, analyze, and document end‑user processes and systems requirements for enhancement and/or workflow improvements or new system development.
- Develop and execute system test plans to ensure application performance aligns to specifications.
- Prepare technical reports, design workflow maps or other documents to facilitate system understanding.
- May lead segments of larger projects, develop trainings, presentations, and communications.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree and four years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
