This senior leadership role is responsible for the strategic direction, development, and oversight of an enterprise-wide physical security and protection program within a global organization operating in the insurance and risk management sector.

The position holds global accountability for physical security, executive protection, governance, compliance, and performance oversight
, ensuring the safety of people, assets, and operations worldwide. You will lead a diverse global workforce and vendor ecosystem, combining in-house teams with managed service providers.

Reporting into senior leadership within the enterprise resilience function, this role plays a key part in shaping the organization’s long‑term security vision, driving innovation, and embedding security into broader operational resilience strategies.

• Lead and operationalize a global enterprise security program across multiple regions
• Develop and communicate a long‑term security strategy and roadmap

• Ensure compliance with security, safety, and operational resilience regulations in collaboration with legal and risk stakeholders
• Lead and develop a global workforce of security professionals and travel risk specialists
• Identify emerging threats, risks, and technology trends through enterprise‑wide strategic planning
• Establish, enforce, and continuously improve security policies, standards, and governance frameworks
• Advise executive and senior leadership on security investments, priorities, and industry best practices
• Champion innovation through advanced technologies, analytics, and process optimization

• Strong knowledge of risk management, regulatory compliance, and security governance

• Degree in Security Management or a related field

• 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate security
• Proven leadership in security strategy, innovation, and policy development
• Experience leading large‑scale transformation initiatives
• Track record of implementing new processes, technologies, and governance frameworks
• Corporate or enterprise‑level security leadership experience
• Executive‑level communication and stakeholder engagement
• Physical security, risk assessment, and threat analysis expertise
• Ability to present complex strategies to senior leadership
• Strong critical thinking and decision‑making skills
• Proven ability to perform under pressure in high‑stakes environments
• Leadership presence with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
