The Program Manager for the Future of Health Innovation Hub will play a central role in operationalizing the Hub’s strategic vision. Reporting to the Faculty Director, this position manages a portfolio of innovation‑focused activities spanning, faculty innovation, student engagement, fellowship programming, and multi‑sector partnerships.

The position requires an experienced person who excels at program design and implementation, stakeholder management, and operational execution.

• Program Execution — Leads the planning, implementation and delivery of Hub initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and timely execution of milestones.

• Develops and manages multi‑phase project plans, timelines, and workflows relevant to innovation programming across the Hub.

• Anticipates risks, identifies dependencies, and drives cross‑team alignment to maintain momentum and accountability.

• Stakeholder Engagement — Serves as the primary operational liaison to designated Yale partners and external collaborators, cultivating relationships that advance innovation initiatives.

• Manages partnership activities with corporate, nonprofit, academic, and community organizations, ensuring clear communication, structured follow‑up, and sustained engagement, aligning with strategic priorities.

• Leads the Hub in operational and collaborative planning sessions with Yale internal and external partners, advancing program goals and supporting partnership implementation.

• Manages the development and implementation of industry and philanthropic partnerships, including preparation of proposals, briefing materials, partnership documentation, and follow‑up activities in coordination with the Faculty Director and appropriate Yale offices.

• Student & Fellow Oversight — Provides leadership and direction to student employees, interns, fellows, and temporary staff.

• Aligns team capacity with program priorities, sets expectations, and ensures high‑quality contributions to Hub initiatives.

• Systems & Operations — Designs, implements, and maintains operational systems that support program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and project tracking.

• Builds processes for information flow, documentation, and cross‑team coordination that enhance efficiency and transparency.

• Synthesizes insights and provides regular updates to leadership, informing leadership on decision‑making and operational planning.

• Design and implement quality control measures to ensure accurate data collection and processing.

• Continuous Improvement — Evaluates program operations, identifies gaps, and recommends enhancements to strengthen effectiveness and scalability.

• Drives iterative improvements to workflows, systems, and engagement strategies.

• Tracks program performance measures and reporting requirements associated with externally funded programs, partnerships, and philanthropic commitments.

• Manages and tracks program budgets and expenditures across Hub initiatives, ensuring alignment with approved budgets, program priorities, and institutional requirements.

• Leads development of budgets, proposals, and related materials for corporate, philanthropic, and other external funding opportunities in collaboration with Hub leadership and appropriate Yale partners.
