Job DescriptionWe're working with a well-established and growing manufacturer in the Greater New Haven, MI area that is looking to add an experienced Production Manager to their team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong lean manufacturing background who can drive continuous improvement and lead a team of direct report supervisors across multiple departments.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop supervisors and production employees across multiple departments
- Manage and optimize department performance including quality, process improvements, and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Develop, implement, and enforce process control
- Oversee training and development of production staff
- Compile and generate production related reports
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong lean manufacturing background required
- Industrial engineering background a plus
- Degree preferred but not required
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to teach and generate results
