We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Advanced Practice Provider to join our high-volume Ambulatory Orthopedic practice with a focus on arthroplasty (joint replacement).
Position Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive orthopedic care in an ambulatory clinic setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with joint-related conditions
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments and follow‑up care
- First assist in the operating room for arthroplasty procedures
- Develop and implement patient‑centered treatment plans in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons
- Provide patient education regarding surgical procedures, recovery, and long‑term joint health
- Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure high‑quality, coordinated care
- Four‑day workweek (10‑hour shifts)
- No nights, weekends, or holidays
- No call requirements
- Mix of operating room and ambulatory clinic responsibilities
- High‑volume, well‑established orthopedic practice
- Comprehensive onboarding and orientation program for new graduates
- Experienced orthopedic APP candidates preferred
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Eligible for state licensure and DEA registration
- Interest or experience in orthopedics and arthroplasty
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

- 1. Clinical Care
* The Physician Assistant (PA) or the Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient/family needs throughout the disease process as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team. The NP/PA, whether the practice setting is the inpatient, ambulatory, or outpatient settings, provides optimal patient care, from diagnostic to prognostic matters. This individual works in collaboration with the attending supervising/collaborating physician(s) in accordance with state law and hospital regulations, hospital policy, protocols and clinical pathways and may provide autonomous team based care.
* Obtains medical histories, performs physical examinations, reviews/orders diagnostic/therapeutic tests and radiologic results, formulates and manages patient treatment plans.
