Registered Nurse - Educator

As a nursing instructor at Dexter Dionio
, you will mentor and lead registered nurses in a classroom environment, preparing them for clinical practice. You’ll teach practical topics, facilitate skills labs, and provide individualized coaching.

• Arrive on campus at 7:30 am and start the day with calm, focused classroom instruction.
• Teach practical nursing topics using real‑life examples, connecting theory to practice.
• Prepare students for clinicals and guide them with confidence and care.
• Lead the skills lab covering vitals, medication pass, wound care and more.
• Provide 1‑on‑1 student support, grade papers, and prepare for the next day.
• End the day at 4 pm, ensuring no burnout and a sense of purpose.

• Active CT RN license.
• At least 4 years of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN degree required; MSN valued.

Hours: 8‑hour day shifts, Monday – Friday, 7 am – 4 pm
Schedule: Full‑time, no nights or weekends
Location: Bridgeport, CT
Employment: Permanent

Base salary ranges from $97,760 (BSN) to $104,000 per year. A hiring bonus of $2,000 is offered.
