Overview
The Registered Nurse 2 provides direct nursing care in a clinical or unit setting according to established procedures, protocols, and scope of nursing practice standards. This role involves directing patient care activities by interpreting and implementing healthcare policies and standards, managing patient assessments and triage, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The nurse supports multidisciplinary clinical teams, supervises support staff, and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and two years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Background Check RequirementsAll candidates will be subject to pre‑employment background screening including motor vehicle, DOT certification, drug testing, and credit checks as appropriate.
Health RequirementsThe role requires compliance with health requirements: MMR vaccine or immunity, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine or immunity, TB screening, COVID vaccine per University policy, hepatitis B vaccine or immunity, and annual flu vaccination.
