Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Infusion

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Outpatient Clinic Infusion position at a large academic Level I Trauma Center, requiring chemo administration experience and a CT or Compact RN license.

Job Details

• Outpatient clinic infusion unit within a large Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center (1,000+ beds),

• Oncology patient population with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:7-8,

• Monday through Friday, day shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), 5x8-hour shifts,

• Floating required,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Every other weekend required,

• Charting via Epic EMR,

• Parking available at a cost of $125/month,

Job Requirements

• Active CT or Compact RN license required,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Chemotherapy administration certification required,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Prior experience in a large trauma center setting required,

• Triage experience preferred,

• Epic EMR experience preferred,

• Candidates must not have any priors on their nursing license,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate,

• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler,

• Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved by the facility,

• Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted,

• COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted,

• Royal blue scrubs required,

• Orientation begins virtually on the start Friday, with onsite reporting beginning the following Monday,
