ICU Nurse
Job Description
Work a high-acuity CV/CT ICU nursing role in New Haven, CT, supporting cardiac-focused critical care with expert‑level proficiency and attention to detail. This travel assignment is structured around 12‑hour night shifts (19:00–07:00) in a 4×12 schedule, with guaranteed hours and an every‑other‑weekend requirement. You’ll join a fast‑paced cardiac ICU setting where experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring matters—this role specifically requires being proficient with Swan‑Ganz monitoring.
You’ll need at least 3 years of cardiac ICU experience (critical care/CTICU experience is strongly valued), and first‑timers are accepted when they bring relevant cardio‑thoracic ICU and critical care background. Charting is in Epic, and you may float within scope to other HVC ICUs to meet facility needs.
Because the work is specialized, this assignment is a great fit for a seasoned CV/CT ICU Registered Nurse who enjoys building momentum during night shift and bringing calm, confident focus to complex monitoring.
