About This Role
The Assistant Nurse Manager in the Children's Emergency Department is responsible for ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care. This role is ideal for a nurse with leadership experience who is passionate about delivering excellent service and improving patient outcomes.

New Haven, CT
- Serve as the clinical leader for patient flow in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Ensure safe staffing levels and clinical competence for excellent nursing care.
- Participate in strategies to maintain the financial well-being of the organization.
- Promote a culture of safe, high-quality care and achieve superior outcomes.
- Deliver Patient and Family Centered Care (PFCC) and ensure adherence to service excellence standards.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required;
Master's preferred (one degree must be in nursing).
Experience:
- 2 years of clinical nurse experience and a minimum of 1 year of leadership/supervisory experience.
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current CT state RN licensure required; specialty certification preferred or willing to obtain within 18 months of hire.
