About This Role
The Perioperative Specialty Coordinator (PSC) organizes patient care activities and serves as the primary clinical resource to the OR team, providing quality nursing care in the designated specialty. This role is ideal for experienced RNs who excel in a dynamic perioperative environment.

- Demonstrate clinical competence in perioperative services
- Encourage and mentor staff to ensure competencies
- Collaboratively engage staff with surgical specialty
- Oversee staffing assignments and competency assessments
- Provide direct care 50% of the time
Education:
- BSN required, or attained within 2 years of start date
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years perioperative OR experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in designated surgical specialty field
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current CT state RN licensure required
- Specialty certification preferred
