Physician Assistant Or Nurse Practitioner

The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is a licensed professional provider who functions in collaboration with an attending physician in a variety of practice settings vides exceptional direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care to the highest standards of the organization as part of a multidisciplinary team. Cultivates a patient centric environment which focuses on the whole individual inclusive of physical, psychosocial, spiritual and functional needs of the patient, family, and significant others.

Serves as the focal professional for the continuity of care in patient care within scope of practice standards, as well as specialty specific standards to address and resolve problems that may arise.

Position:
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).

Setting:
Busy multi-site ambulatory hepatology clinic providing care for patients with a variety of liver-related conditions.

Schedule:

4-day work week designed to promote work–life balance.

No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.

About the Role
  • Join a collaborative, patient-centered hepatology team in a dynamic outpatient environment.
  • Provide care for patients with acute and chronic liver diseases across multiple clinic locations.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and specialty providers to deliver comprehensive hepatology care.
Qualifications
  • Open to both new graduate and experienced APPs.
  • Experience in hepatology, gastroenterology, or internal medicine preferred, but not required.
  • Structured onboarding and orientation program available to support new graduates transitioning into practice.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in an outpatient hepatology setting.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage chronic liver disease conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialty teams across multiple sites to coordinate patient care.
  • Participate in patient education, care coordination, and follow-up management.
