Variable Job Summary
Responsible for planning, developing and delivering nursing coursework using innovative, engaging and sound educational practices in classroom, clinical and/or hands‑on lab settings.
Minimum Education- Completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing, and holding or entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom. Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing required.
- Master’s of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Valid multi‑state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
- BLS certified.
- Minimum two years RN experience.

- Demonstrated expertise in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.
- Advanced communication skills to convey information effectively.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Strong teaching and communication skills.
- Positive leadership and innovation.
- Proficiency in use of technology.
- Teach courses in classroom, nursing laboratory or clinical settings that fulfill current curriculum goals and objectives.
- Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum.
- Provide professional academic advisement, mentoring, and counseling to students.
- Maintain current evidence‑based knowledge, clinical expertise, and safety in subject areas related to teaching responsibilities.
- Evaluate student achievement and progress according to program standards and procedures, and assign course grades with input from clinical faculty and/or preceptor.
- Supervise clinical practice activities (simulation and clinical agencies) as assigned.
- Participate actively in meetings, review and analyze assessment data, compile reports, and meet academic and administrative deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory guidelines, along with internal company policies.
Exercising independent judgment in making decisions from many diversified alternatives subject to general review in final stages only.
Working RelationshipWorks directly with students; interacts with internal and external customers via telephone or face‑to‑face interaction; collaborates with other healthcare professionals and staff; frequently works with individuals at Director level or above.
